Tour DetailsDay 01: Arrival at DelhiA warm welcome will be extended to you by our travel assistant once you arrive at Delhi's international airport. You'll then be accompanied to the hotel, where a check in will be made. You'll be briefed about the entire tour, after which lunch will be arranged. Thereafter, you'll be taken to the National Museum of Natural History, to provide you know-how about the history and crafts of India. Dinner and night stay will be at the hotel. Day 02: DelhiAfter a delectable breakfast, you'll be taken for a visit to the historical monuments of Delhi. These include Qutub Minar and Humanyun's Tomb. In the evening, you'll be free to explore the markets for shopping. Overnight will be spent at the hotel. Day 03: Delhi - AgraA relishing breakfast will be followed by a half day tour of Old Delhi. Jama Masjid, Red Fort and Chandni Chowk are the major attractions. For lunch, return to the hotel. Afterwards, you'll journey to Agra. Make a check in upon arrival and call it a day. Day 04: AgraRise early in the morning for a visit to the magnificent Taj Mahal at sunrise. Return to the hotel for breakfast and sit for an optional lecture on the monuments of Agra. Later, pay a visit to Agra Fort. Evening will be free to stroll around the local market for shopping. Night stay will be made at the hotel. Day 05: AgraAfter a delicious breakfast at the hotel, a full day excursion to Fatehpur Sikri and Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary will be made. The abandoned great palace of Emperor Akbar, Fatehpur Sikri has some religious and historical buildings to see. These include Panch Mahal, Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti, Diwan-i-Aam and Diwan-i-Khas. You'll then visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. With over 370 species of birds dwelling here, the national park is a bird lover's paradise. You can spot warblers, bee-eaters, chats, quails, storks, cormorants, comb duck, Indian shag, sarus crane, and greater spotted eagle among other birds. In the evening, you'll return to Agra for night's rest. Day 06: Agra - GwaliorBreakfast will be followed by a train journey to Gwalior, the glorious fortress city. This ancient site encloses some unharmed Hindu buildings that survived the Muslim era. Upon arriving, our representative will greet you and transfer you to the hotel for a check in and overnight stay. Day 07: Gwalior - KhajurahoDay seven will begin with a scrumptious breakfast, after which you'll be driven to the high aesthetic temple town of Khajuraho. En-route, pay a visit to the Rajput Palace of Govind Mahal at Datia. Upon reaching Gwalior, make a check in at the hotel and retire for the night. Day 08: KhajurahoIn the morning, you'll be given a lecture on Hindu temple architecture, post breakfast. Afterwards, a visit to the World Heritage Site of Khajuraho Temples will be made. The groups of temple monuments are known for their exquisite sculptures and fine craftsmanship. Enjoy rickshaw rides and walks through the rural lanes. For overnight stay, you'll be dropped back at the hotel. Day 09: Khajuraho - OrchhaStart the day with a delightful breakfast, which will be followed by a journey to Panna National Park. Later on, you'll proceed to Orchha, your next stopover on the itinerary. Visit the Rajput palaces and temples of late 16th and early 17th centuries here. You'll be accommodated in the hotel to spend the night. Day 10: Orchha - BhopalEarly in the morning, you'll be transferred to Jhansi to board a train to Bhopal. Check in to the hotel when you reach and relax for some time. Post lunch, a half day city tour will be made. Museum of Mankind, Jama Masjid, Upper Lake, and Lower Lake are the most prominent tourist attractions here. Return to the hotel in the evening for sleepover. Day 11: Bhopal - JalgaonOn day eleven of the tour, you'll be given a lecture on Buddhist architecture, after breakfast. Henceforth, you'll be driven to Sanchi Stupa and Buddhist caves at Vidisha, by road. In the evening, you'll be transferred to the railway station to board an overnight train to Jalgaon. Day 12: Jalgaon - Ajanta - AurangabadArrival at Jalgaon will be early in the morning. From there, you'll travel to Ajanta, to visit the 6th century Buddhist excavations and frescoes of Ajanta Caves. You'll then leave for Aurangabad in late afternoon. Check in at the hotel on reaching and relax for the night. Day 13: Aurangabad - MumbaiYour day will begin with a wholesome breakfast. Soon after, a trip to the 6th-7th century Buddhist caves of Ellora will be made. Also, visit the Bibi-ka-Maqbara. You'll then leave for Mumbai by air in the late afternoon. Upon arriving, you'll be transferred to the hotel for overnight stay. Day 14: Mumbai DepartureOn the last day of your tour, you'll be served with a lip-smacking breakfast at the hotel. Later on, you'll be dropped at the airport to board a flight for onward travel.
