Tour DetailsDay 01: Arrival at DelhiYou'll be greeted by our tour representative upon your arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport. From here, you'll be escorted to the hotel for a check-in. Thereafter; you'll be taken for a sightseeing tour of India's national capital, Delhi. The places, you'll visit during your tour are Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, Rashtrapati Bhawan, India Gate, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat and Birla Mandir. Also, explore the world famous markets of Chandni Chowk and Chawri Bazar with a rickshaw ride. Upon reaching Mandawa, make a check-in at the pre-booked hotel and take rest. During your visit, you'll see the havelis built by the rich and famous merchants of the 18th and 19th centuries. After exploring the cultural beauty of Shekhawati, you'll be driven to Khimsar, en-route Nagaur to see the splendid Ahhichatragarh Fort. By afternoon, you'll reach Khimsar. Make a check-in at the hotel and spend the day at leisure. Night stay will be made at the hotel.  © Uzi @ flickr Day 05: Khimsar - Pokhran - JaisalmerPost breakfast, you'll be driven to Thar Desert for Osiyan, to see the 7th century Harihar Temple and Hindu Temple of Goddess Shakti. Henceforth, you'll continue towards Pokhran. By afternoon, you'll reach Pokhran. Upon your arrival at Pokhran, you'll visit the 15th century fortress, where the Mughal Emperor Akbar was born. Lunch will be served in Pokhran, after which you'll journey towards Jaisalmer. By evening, you'll reach Jaisalmer. Make a check-in and go out to see the beauty of the golden desert at sunset. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.  © Mario Micklisch @ flickr Day 06: JaisalmerAfter having a sumptuous breakfast, set out for an early morning visit to the Jain Temples, Patwaon-ki-Haveli and Gadisar Lake. In the evening, visit Sam or Khuri village to see the sunset amidst the dunes. If you want to listen to the haunted tunes of the desert, then join the musical programme performed by the local artists and musicians. On arriving, make a check-in at the hotel and proceed to visit Jaswant Thada and Umaid Bhawan Palace. By late evening, you'll be dropped at the hotel, where a sumptuous dinner will be awaiting you. See the superb collection of paintings, arms and ammunitions housed in the colossal fortress. From there, you'll be driven to the world of animals, Luni. Enjoy the jungle safari, after lunch. Visit Bishnoi villages during the jungle safari. At the end of the day, enjoy the opium ceremony performed by Patels, a rich tribe. On the way, you'll visit Ranakpur, an important pilgrimage centre for the Jains. By late evening, you'll arrive at Udaipur. Check-in at the pre-booked hotel and relax. En-route, you'll take a break at Ajmer to visit the holy shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. Make a check-in at the hotel when you reach Pushkar and visit the world famous cattle fair, held every year in the month of October-November. Later drive to Jaipur. Make a check-in at the hotel immediately upon arriving. Take rest and set out for a sightseeing tour of the city. You'll be visiting City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Albert Hall Museum, and Ram Niwas Gardens. You'll be visiting Amber Fort, Jai Mandir, Hawa Mahal, and City Palace. Visit the local market to get a glimpse of work at the gems cutting and polishing factory. By lunch time, you'll reach Karauli. Have a flavorsome lunch and visit the historic palaces of Karauli. Bhanwar Niwas Palace and City Palace are the major highlights. In the evening, stroll around the local bazaar of Karauli to get a feel of Rajasthani culture. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. Day 15: Karauli - AgraYou'll leave for Agra in the morning. A halt will be taken at Fatehpur Sikri to visit Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, Jama Masjid and Tomb of Salim Chishti. On arriving at Agra, check-in at the hotel and go for a sunset view of Taj Mahal. In the later hours of the day, you'll be taken for a visit to the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah. After lunch, you'll be driven to Delhi. Upon arriving at Delhi, our tour staff will take you to a local restaurant for farewell dinner, after which you'll be transferred to the airport to catch a flight for onward destination.
