Tour DetailsDay 01: Arrival at TrivandrumOnce you arrive at Trivandrum International Airport, you'll be greeted by our representative who'll accompany you to the hotel. Make a check in and freshen up. A sightseeing tour will follow up next. The main tourist attractions include Napier Museum, Sri Chitra Art Gallery, Veli Lagoon and Kuthiramalika Palace. For night stay, you'll be dropped at the hotel in the evening. Day 02: Trivandrum - AlleppeyDay two will begin with a lip-smacking breakfast, after which you'll be driven to Alleppey. Upon arriving, you'll board the houseboat and enjoy the 24-hour cruise through the tranquil, spectacular backwaters. This will, indeed, be one of the most fascinating experiences of your tour. All meals will be served onboard. Spend the night in the houseboat. Day 03: Alleppey - ThekkadyStart the day with a traditional breakfast in the houseboat. Thereafter, you'll disembark the houseboat and travel to Thekkady, home to the famous Periyar National Park. Check in at the resort upon arriving and proceed for a trip to the wildlife sanctuary. You can spot wild elephant, barking deer, boar, the great Indian tiger, sambar, Nilgiri Tahr, lion-tailed macaque, Nilgiri Langur, and Indian wild dog in their natural habitat at the national park. In the evening, enjoy a boat cruise and catch glimpses of the wildlife. Overnight stay will be at the resort. Day 04: Thekkady - MunnarA delightful breakfast will be followed by a journey to Munnar, an incredibly magnificent hill station nestled in the Western Ghats. Here, you'll be visiting Indo-Swiss cattle project, Mattupetty Dam, Eravikulam National Park and Anamudi Peak. You'll be accommodated in the resort for night stay. Day 05: Munnar - CochinOn the fifth day of the tour, you'll start off with an early breakfast, followed by a drive to Cochin. In the afternoon, a city tour will be made. Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry Palace, Chinese Fishing Nets, Fort Kochi, and Bolgatty Palace are some popular tourist attractions. For overnight stay, you'll return to the hotel. Day 06: Cochin - OotyAfter a filling breakfast, a journey to the splendidly beguiling hill resort of Ooty will be made. Snuggled among the green hills and vast valleys, Ooty is known for its tea estates. Check in at the hotel and freshen up. Later on, a half day tour will be done. You'll visit Botanical Gardens, Doddabetta Peak and Tiger Hill. Enjoy a boat ride in the Ooty Lake in the evening. Night stay will take place in the hotel. Day 07: OotyHave breakfast and leave for a full day excursion to Coonoor. Dolphin's Nose, Hidden Valley, Catherine Falls, Sim's Park and Lamb's Rock are some prominent places to see. Return to Ooty to spend the night. Day 08: Ooty - CoimbatoreDay eight of your tour will start with a relishing breakfast, followed by a trip to Mettupalayam via toy train. It is the best way of catching the glimpses of the picturesque Nilgiri Hills. On reaching Mettupalayam, you'll be taken to Coimbatore by road. Overnight stay will be at a hotel in Coimbatore. Day 09: Coimbatore DepartureEnjoy the delicious morning meal served at the hotel. Thereafter, you'll be transferred to Coimbatore International Airport to board a flight for onward destination.
