Overnight Delhi. Day 03: Delhi / JaipurMorning transfer to New Delhi railway-station to catch the train for Jaipur. Arrive & transfer to hotel. Afternoon city tour of Jaipur covering Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Royal Observatory & Bazaar. Overnight at hotel. Day 04: Jaipur / AgraMorning visit Amber Fort. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors. Ascend the Fort on Elephant back. Later transfer to railway-station to catch the train for Agra. Late evening arrive Agra. Transfer to hotel. Overnight Agra. Day 05: AgraAfter breakfast, half Day city tour visiting Taj Mahal, Red fort, Itmad-ud-Daula's Tomb. Check-out at 1200 hrs. Evening free or visit Taj Mahal at sunset (optional). Overnight at Agra. Day 06: Agra / GwaliorAfter breakfast, transfer to railway-station to catch the train for Gwalior. On arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit the Man Mandir, Gujari Mahal (an archaeological museum), The fort, Temples of Sas-Bahu, Teli Ka Mandir, Jai Vilas Palace, Tomb of Gaus Mohammad and the Mausoleum of Tansen. Overnight at Gwalior. Day 07: Gwalior / Jhansi / KhajurahoAfter breakfast, transfer to railway-station to catch the train for Jhansi. Arrive Jhansi & drive to Khajuraho. Afternoon visit the world famous Khajuraho temples were built by the Chandela kings between 950 AD and 1050 AD. Overnight at Khajuraho. Day 08: VaranasiAfter breakfast, free at leisure till you transfered to airport for flight to Varanasi. Arrive Varanasi and transfer to hotel. Rest of the Day at leisure. Evening visit to Sarnath, the principle centre of Buddhism. It was here around 530 B.C that Buddha preached his 1st sermon after gaining enlightenment. Also visit Dhamekh and Dharmarajika stupas. Overnight Varanasi. Day 09: VaranasiEarly morning boat ride on river Ganges to see the beautiful sunrise at Ganges.
