Tour DetailsDay 01: Arrival at BhavnagarOnce you arrive at Bhavnagar, you will be welcomed by a member of our team and then transferred to your hotel for check in and brief rest. Later the sightseeing tour of the city will commence. The tour will include a visit to the Takhteshwar temple, which was built to honor Lord Shiva. Placed on a resplendent marble courtyard on a serene hillock, the shrine offers a panoramic view of the city spread below. The other interesting sites that you would be visiting will be Gandhi Smriti, Barton Library and Museum. The overnight stay will at the hotel in Bhavnagar. Day 02: Bhavnagar - PalitanaThe day will begin with an early morning breakfast, after which you will be driven to Palitana. On arrival you will check into the hotel and will be given time to freshen up. Afterwards, the day trip to the revered Palitana Jain Temples will commence. These temples are one of the most magnificent examples of ostentatious Jain architecture and hold immense significance as a pilgrimage site as well. People from across the world visit these shrines to pay homage. Reaching the site will also be an interesting exercise, as it is located on top of Mount Shatrunjaya. In evening you shall return to the hotel and spend the night there. Day 03: Palitana - GondalAfter a hearty breakfast, your journey to Gondal will begin. On arrival, you will check into the hotel and rest for a while. Thereafter, you will visit the spectacular Naulakha Palace, which was built in 1748, by Maharaja Bhagwat Singh. The palace is known for its intricate stone carvings, ornamented arches and twirling staircases with vast breezy courtyard. The palace houses a private museum as well, here you will find on display, various royal relics and memorabilia. Later you will also get a chance to see up close numerous vintage cars. The overnight stay will be at the Gondal hotel. Day 04: Gondal - SomnathIn morning you will be taken on a sightseeing tour of Gondal, which will include various fascinating sites like Swaminarayan Temple and Bhuvneshvary Ayurvedic Library. Later in the afternoon, you will be taken to Somnath, where you will check into the hotel, on arrival and then will visit the world famous Somnath Temple. This temple has an ancient history and is believed to have been rebuilt seven times. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is considered one of his twelve Jyotirlingas, thus has immense religious significance for Hindus. For overnight that you will return to the hotel. Day 05: Somnath - PorbandarThe morning will see you leave for Porbandar, once there, you’ll check into the hotel. After a brief rest, you will visit Mahatma Gandhi’s ancestral home, where he was born. The three storied haveli is now known as Kirti Mandir and houses a small museum, where many of Mahatma’s personal belongings and photographs have been kept on display. Later you will visit the Sudama temple, which is the only one of its kind, in whole of India. As Sudama is not considered a deity but is believed to be a childhood friend and devotee of Lord Krishna. The night will be spent at the Porbandar hotel. Day 06: Porbandar - DwarkaAfter a filling traditional Gujarati breakfast, you journey towards the Dwarka city will commence. Once there, you will check into the hotel and will be given sometime to rest and freshen up. Thereafter, the sightseeing tour of the city will commence, your itinerary will include Gomti River, Dwarkadish Temple, Okha Port, Nageshwar, Gopi Pond, Rukhmani Temple and Bet Dwarka Temple. Each of these sites is held sacred by Hindus and has attached with it various mythological tales related to Lord Krishna and his lifetime, as Dwarka is revered as his erstwhile capital. For overnight stay you will return back the hotel.
