Tour DetailsDay 01: Arrival at LucknowYou shall be welcomed by our representative at Lucknow's international airport and transported comfortably to the hotel for a check in. Relax and laze around for the rest of the day. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. Day 02: Lucknow - BalrampurAfter a hearty early morning breakfast, a road journey to Balrampur shall commence in a comfortable, chauffer driven car. On arrival at the destination, you shall check into the hotel. After a quick rest, you shall visit Sravasti, the ruins of the ancient Kosala Kingdom, which were Lord Buddha's abode for 24 rainy seasons. Here, you'll visit Jetvana Gardens, Saheth - Maheth and Jetvan. Return to the hotel to spend the night. Day 03: Balrampur - LumbiniA delicious breakfast will be followed by a drive to the sacred site of Lumbini. On arrival, you shall check in at the hotel. In the evening, a sightseeing tour of Lumbini will be made, wherein you'll visit the birthplace of Lord Buddha, which remained a mystery for almost 1,500 years and was discovered as late as in 1890. Dinner and night stay will be at Lumbini. Day 04: Lumbini - KushinagarHave a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel and proceed for a guided tour of Kushinagar. This is the site where Shakyamuni achieved Mahaparinirvana. Once you have checked in at the hotel, freshen up and visit the Mahaparinirvana Temple and the site of Lord Buddha's cremation. Day 06: Patna - Nalanda - Rajgir - BodhgayaAfter a scrumptious Indian breakfast, your journey to Bodhgaya will commence. En-route, you shall visit Nalanda, where you will see the ruins of most ancient Indian universities and Buddhist monasteries, stupa of Sariputta, Nav Nalanda Vihar, etc. From there, you will make a quick stopover at Rajgir to enjoy the pristine landscapes of the region where prince Siddhartha came to seek solace after renouncing the world. On arrival at Bodhgaya, check into a hotel. Here, you'll be served with a wholesome dinner, after which you can retire for the night. Day 07: BodhgayaThe day will start with a refreshing breakfast. Later, an elaborate sightseeing tour of Bodhgaya, one of the most significant Buddhist pilgrimage centers in the world, will be made. You shall visit magnificent sites, like Mahabodhi Temple, Niranjana River, and Sujata Village. By late evening, return to the hotel and relax for the night. Day 08: Bodhgaya - VaranasiA delightful breakfast will be followed by a journey to Varanasi. Check in at the hotel and rest for a while upon arriving. Henceforth, a half day city tour will be made, wherein you'll visit the Ghats of River Ganges, Bharat Mata Temple, Vishwanath Temple and Banaras Hindu University. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
