Tour DetailsDay 01: Arrival at KathmanduUpon arrival at Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport, you shall be received and greeted by our representative, who'll escort you to the hotel. Make a check-in and spend the rest of the day at leisure. A lavish dinner will be served, which will be followed by an overnight stay. Day 02: KathmanduA sightseeing tour of the splendid Kathmandu shall commence once you have had your breakfast. The guided tour will take you through various bravura sites, which include the Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Bodhnath Stupa, the Royal Palace, and a centre for Tibet School of Buddhism. Each of these sites will offer you a wonderful glimpse into the rich cultural heritage of Nepal. The Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most revered Shiva temples around the world and dates back to 400 AD, whereas the Bodhnath Stupa is the largest Buddhist site in Nepal. For dinner and overnight stay, you shall be escorted back to the hotel. Day 03: Kathmandu - NyalamAfter a scrumptious breakfast, you'll head for the small Tibetan town of Nyalam, placed at a height of 3750 m above sea level. The journey of around 150 km will take 8-9 hours to complete. Once the border formalities are completed, you shall check into the hotel. Rest for the entire night to acclimatize yourself with the altitude and climate. Day 04: Nyalam - Yak KharkhaOnce you have had a wholesome breakfast, your journey towards Yak Kharkha will commence. This next overnight stopover is located at a height of 4675 m. After a 8-9 hour drive, covering a distance of 240 km, you'll reach this pristine site. Retire for the night in camps after having a traditional Tibetan dinner. Day 05: Yak Kharkha - New DongbaA relaxed tasty breakfast will be followed by a drive to New Dongba, situated at an altitude of 4500 m. You shall complete this leg of the journey in around 6-7 hours, covering a distance of 160 km, through meandering mountainous terrains. Dinner and overnight stay shall be arranged at the campsite in New Dongba. Day 06: New Dongba - Mayumla PhediYou'll be provided with a delicious breakfast at the campsite, after which you'll travel to Mayumla Phedi, located at a distance of 210 km and at a height of 4500 m. On your way, you'll be treated with panoramic views of the magnificent landscapes adorned with snow-capped mountains. Upon arrival, dinner and overnight stay will be made at the campsite. Day 07: Mayumla Phedi - MansarovarAfter breakfast, the 120 km journey to Mansarovar from Mayumla Phedi shall begin. Mansarovar, indeed, is one of the most sacred sites in the world and is placed at a height of 4560 m. Once here, you shall be provided with dinner and boarding at the camp for the night. Day 08: Mansarovar - DarchenHave a light breakfast, after which a tour of Mansarovar by jeep will commence. After darshan of the holy Chui Gompa, you'll be driven to Darchen, which serves as a base for all kinds of adventure sport activities, like mountaineering and hiking. On arrival, you'll be provided with dinner and comfortable lodging at the hotel / guest house. Day 09: Darchen - Dira PukYou'll be provided with an early morning meal, before starting for Darchen Traboche. This is the site from where on-foot trek of the Kailash Parikrama Yatra begins. Darchen Traboche is considered a spiritual oasis by various religions, such as Buddhism, Tibetan, Hinduism and Jainism. The on-foot trek from here to Dira Puk is 12 km long and takes one to the altitude of 4775 m. You'll be provided with dinner and night stay at camp at Dira Puk. Day 10: Dira Puk - Zuthul PukAn early morning energy-packed breakfast will get you ready for a long and hard day of trek, wherein you'll cover 22 km of treacherous mountainous terrains to reach Zuthul Puk, placed at a height of 4700 m. The 11-hour journey will take you across the Dolma Pass. On arrival at Zuthul Puk, you shall be provided with dinner and overnight stay at the camp. Day 11: Zuthul Puk - Mansarovar Lake (Hor Qu)After a relaxed breakfast in the morning, begins the 14 km long trek to Mansarovar Lake at Hor Qu. The pristine and virgin natural region of Mansarovar Lake and Mount Kailash are reveled as holy abodes of Lord Shankar and hence, every Hindu desires to visit this site. With a dip in the holy lake, the yatra comes to an end. Dinner and lodging will be at the camp. Day 12: Manasarovar Lake - MayumlaHave breakfast amidst the dream-like landscapes of the region and bid adieu to the awe-inspiring site for the downhill journey to Mayumla Phedi. The drive will take around 6-7 hours and cover a distance of 120 km. On arrival, have dinner and spend the night at the camp. Day 13: Mayumla - New DongbaAfter an unhurried breakfast, you'll be driven to New Dongba where you'll spend the night and have dinner at the campsite. Day 14: New Dongba - Yak KharkaIn the morning after a delicious breakfast, you shall continue your descend and reach Yak Kharka (4675 m) in 5-6 hours. Have dinner and rest for the night in the tents. Day 15: Yak Kharka - NyalamEnjoy a hearty breakfast at the camp and move downwards on the journey soaking in the scenic beauty of the wonderful environs. You shall arrive at Nyalam in the evening, where you shall be provided with dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. Day 16: Nyalam - KathmanduOnce you've had a filling breakfast, you shall be driven to Kathmandu. On arriving, you'll be transferred to the pre-booked hotel. Make a check-in and relax. Have a delicious dinner and spend the night. Day 17: Kathmandu DepartureEnjoy the relishing breakfast served at the hotel. Later, go for shopping in the local markets of Kathmandu. As per your flight schedule, you shall be transferred to the airport to board a flight for onward journey.
