Tour DetailsDay 01: Arrival at DelhiUpon your arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi, you'll be received by our tour staff. He will escort you to the hotel. After having breakfast, our tour guide will take you for a full day city tour. The places you'll be visiting are Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Purana Quila, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament House, and Akshardham Temple. Return back to the hotel for delicious dinner and overnight stay. Day 02: Delhi - JaipurPost breakfast, you'll be driven to Jaipur by road. After a four hour journey, you'll reach Jaipur by afternoon. Make a check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and night stay will be at the hotel. Day 03: JaipurEarly morning breakfast will be followed by a day long sightseeing tour of Jaipur - the Pink City. This beautiful city is known for its splendid forts and tranquil lakes. City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, and Amber Fort are some popular tourist spots. An elephant ride to the majestic Amber Fort will enthrall you completely. In the evening, return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Day 04: Jaipur - AgraAfter having a sumptuous breakfast, you'll be driven to Agra. En-route, a short break will be taken at Fatehpur Sikri. Make a check-in at the hotel after reaching Agra. Have dinner and retire for the night. Day 05: Agra - Delhi - ColomboThe fifth day of your tour will start with a lip-smacking morning meal. Afterwards, you'll be taken to the beautiful Taj Mahal. For a complete tour of this romantic mausoleum, board the battery operated bus. Later drive back to Delhi to catch flight for Colombo. After arrival you will be transferred to your hotel for overnght stay. Day 06: ColomboPost breakfast do a city tour of Colombo. Colombo, like many capital cities in developing countries is fast changing its face. Almost overnight, skyscrapers arise from where old buildings once stood. Yet in some parts, the old world charm is retained with several British built colonial buildings. Other places of interest are a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, residential areas where you find the stately homes of the affluent, the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) & the old parliament. After noon at leisure. Day 07: Colombo - Kitulgala - Nuwara EliyaAfter breakfast at the Hotel. Proceed to Nuwara Eliya via Kitulgala. The Kelani River flowing through Kitulgala was the main location where the Oscar winning Movie Bridge on the River Kwai was filmed. On the hill above this town, a prehistoric cave was recently discovered containing large middens of shells from some unknown civilization. The Kelani River is the broadest river in Sri Lanka. Day 08: Nuwara Eliya - KandyBreakfast at the Hotel. Transfer from Nuwara Eliya to Kandy. Enroute - Visit a tea plantation and a tea factory, where the best tea in the world is produced. Here you could observe all about the process of manufacturing tea. You can also see how tea is graded. Taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory. Day 09: Kandy - Pinnawala - ColomboBreakfast at the Hotel. Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. This botanical garden was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers. Day 10: Colombo DepartureAfter Breakfast transfer from Colombo to connect the departure flight.
